Lemon, Honey & Ginger Tonic with Barker's of Geraldine

Lemon, Honey & Ginger Tonic with Barker's of Geraldine

Winter is well and truly here in the Southern Hemisphere and so is my sniffly nose and stuffy head from walking in and out of heated buildings into the ice cold air. Do any of you guys get that? It's just the worst I think! I like to keep up my immunity in the cooler months with natural ingredients like soothing raw honey (straight from the pot with a spoon!) which is perfect for tickly coughs and sore throats, warming and grounding ginger for nausea or dizziness, and zesty lemons for their rich vitamin C content to help keep you fighting fit. Nothing beats snuggling up with a hot cup of lemon, honey and ginger tonic with added fragrant spices like cloves, cinnamon and star anise in the evening (or anytime!) to make you feel like you've just been wrapped up in a bear hug!

Lemon, honey and ginger winter wellness tonic

Today I'm sharing this beautifully grounding and nourishing winter wellness tonic using Barker's Lemon, Honey and Ginger fruit syrup as the base and it's just divine. It's completely natural with no preservatives, artificial colourings or flavourings, is gluten free and is lovely to have on hand in the pantry to whip this (and lots of other combinations) together in no time at all. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I do, it's wonderfully warming and tastes like heaven.
