This spiced hummus with toasted pine nuts, sumac and honey is perfect alone or as a sandwich spread, or even as a base for a salad, just layer up your greens and warm veg!

Spiced Hummus with Toasted Pine Nuts, Sumac & Honey
A twist on a classic!
Ingredients
  • 1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 heaped tbs tahini
  • 1 tsp sumac
  • 1 heaped tsp raw honey
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled
  • 1 juice of lemon
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tbs toasted pine nuts
Instructions
Place everything except the pine nuts into a blender or food processor. Pulse until completely smooth. Serve with extra sumac, mint leaves and the toasted pine nuts.
